How does the automated recall work when the mobile number is shared? (Family Recalls)

Modified on Tue, 09 Apr 2019 at 03:30 PM

Because the Zingit Solutions platform is numbers based (meaning you can't have a duplicate phone number in the platform) if a person shares their phone number with other family members it can be reflected in the automation.

For example, a set of two people share a mobile phone and one of them fall off of their care plan. The other person is active and continues to come in for appointments every week. In this instance, the person falling off of care would NOT receive a text message for recalls, because the person they're sharing a phone number with will be updating the last completed appointment date within the Zingit platform.

What name does the recall go out to?

If a phone is shared by an entire family, the text would be one message that goes out to the name saved in the platform.  One text message for one phone number when it comes to automated recalls.
